Printing test
We perform tests of our printing as papers as well as printing plates on the same standard as the most demanding customers. Based on our experience in offset printing tests, we study the fundamental behavior of the printing process and contributed a standardization program for the printing process. We have the complete process from planning up to printing, all consisting of our own technologies.
Test plant
Our test plant has the entire manufacturing process from stock preparation, papermaking, coating, up to final finishing. This plant helps development engineers find the optimal condition prior to bringing the table scale result to the production process. Tests of novel process technologies are also performed at the test plant.
Computational Fluid Dynamics
For efficient development of process technology, we employ the latest Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) for scientific analysis of coating behavior. In conjunction with pilot plant tests, CFD contributes to finding solutions for various issues, for example, optimization of process and products, environmental issues, and scientific understanding.
